The game is addictive but a little too simple. Make submarine to invade water spaces to earn more cash and at the same built anti-air and try to nuke more than u get nukes yourself. I was able to win a game without reelly nuking anyone properly. Good game but need a little more option. Still, I would buy it again knowing that cause the simple graphics doo the trick for me, and I love risk type of game.

Graphics: Clean, clear, neon/vector style graphics fit the game, as you feel like youre behind some war command screen. The interface is very simple, but still tells you all you really need to know. Sound: Ambient music, with sound effects. Hearing "Launch Sequence Activated" gets your blood pumping as you try to figure out who launched them, and where theyre headed. Controls: Pinch to zoom, slide to pan around the map, and a central targeting reticule handles location picking for construction and bombing. A draw box and tap-to-move commands your submarines. Controls feel very natural once youre used to the two methods. Gameplay: Compete for control on a world scale. Capture water-based factories for resources, and defend them with submarines. Protect your cities with anti-missile turrets, while trying to destroy enemy turrets with bombers. Every 5 minutes signals the availability to launch nuclear missiles. Points awarded for each million deaths. You may also make/break alliances with other nations. Content: A single gameplay mode with 3 difficulty levels. Games are intense, and will keep you interested for a while, but more modes would be nice. Multiplayer is noticeably missing, and would add a lot to the game. Leaderboards/achievements would be nice too. Conclusion: 4/5 An excellent and different game thats well worth considering for fans of real-time strategy.

I agree with the other reviews when they say the graphics are clean and the game is addicting. This game reminds me of a Defcon knock off for apple. The tutorial is just about useless, and it would be nice if you could choose how many AI you play against. The AI seems to have a greater advantage against the player. The concept and structure are ok but I prefer Defcon (available for PC, apple & Linux). 3 stars, not worth 3.99. It would be nice if they had a free demo to see if this game is for you.

Its great, but it needs a little improvement. Its in desperate need of a fast-forward button, and I wish the price was lower. Also Im not fond of the way all the resources are in the ocean. (but maybe thats just me). Anyway, as soon as the price gos down, it could be a must buy.

This is a good game but I just have a few recommendations. 1. Make it a little cheaper. 2. It would be cool to have ground units. 3. Replace bombers with fighter bombers that can attack and defend cities. 4. Controls should be a little bit easy. Dont get me wrong this is an awesome game but what i put as recommendations, I think would make it even better.

I wish you had simply copied the excellent gameplay of Defcon, rather than just its look and feel. At first, I enjoyed the addition of resource gathering, but then quickly realized the underlying combat mechanics were hopelessly daft. Also, why is the scrolling so jerky (iPhone 4 here)? We had glass-smooth scrolling of bitmaps back in 81 for Gods sake. +2 stars for effort +1 for execution -1 for the price

I love this game But it is very complicated

A mediocre Defcon lookalike. Game play so so, graphics stolen from Defcon and implemented as sprites, not vector art.

This game us a joke! Its the exact same as the developers other games just with a different name. However you wont see that on the app description or the screen shots. Dont believe me? Look at the developers other games. Avoid avoid avoid.

I have played defcon and u did a good job getting the look but the resource gathering is terrible! And subs dont nuke? Really? And I dislike that nukes keep becoming prohibited otherwise its really entertaining just needs some tweaks UPDATE SOON PLZ

Fun app. Needs smoother scrolling and towards the end of the game its just me and the other country and somehow they are firing 10 nukes at a time a well as fighters makes it very difficult ( level 0 here ). Fix and its 5 stars

It needs more bases on both sides of the land! More boats! Different weapons. And land bases. I do love this game and play it all the time.

Ok. I awarded this game two stars for premise-I love the idea of annihilating the enemy in a hell of nuclear fire, but, gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. 80% of the games structure seems completely arbitrary, from making and breaking alliances, to resource gathering, to defending your cities. The tutorial is absolute rubbish, and only explains the very bare basics of the game. Im all for a challenge but the game AI is a bit of a enigma-in multiple play throughs Ive had my factories all over whelmed by swarms of enemy units within the first three minutes of the game starting. Overall- good idea overshadowed by crap gameplay and bad user interface.

You need to fix this. I will give it 5 stars if you fix all the constant bugs and freezes in the game.

It used to be a good game, then some of the changes in the last update ruined the game, computers cans go right past your units, the font is weird and hard to read, and the subs seem to glitch around a lot.

Its not what I expected, but still fun. The controls are super easy, and mostly intuitive. But there are some glitchy things that dont really affect gameplay, and the price isnt the best. Bought this to play on roadtrips and airplanes, and it passes the time great. Bring some more updates!

Game worked awesome, till last update please fix game, game was a five star to me till recent update, game just continues to freeze all the time.
